I'm not going to be able to follow the last day's sailing tomorrow (if indeed the wind allows any), so before the beach team pack everything up and leave, I'd just like to convey my thanks to Steve, Matt, Dan, Kev, Hoops and all the boys for the excellent coverage of this event throughout. Also to Paul Pascoe (and daughter) for collating & posting results so promptly it almost defies belief. I have never enjoyed following a regatta so much. Thanks guys. If we can just get Brooksey to fork out for some of those neato GPS tracker transponders on the boats for next time... Now if Camo, Daz or Gavwanna could just get up and snatch this thing in the dying days, then the icing would really be on the cake! Best of luck too to Chris H, Alex L, Squirta, Knud from der vaterland, Phil K & a special mention to Rodney Hodgkin. Well done on making the cut bloke! It was a close one, but you made it and that's no small achievement. Nice work! Sorry to see Trev left out, but if the wind is soft anyway... no loss! Stay comfortable at the bar instead! Confusion rains supreme in the international hobie world as Kerlie Corlett battles Andrew the "Fossil" Thompson for the true Fossil name. Kerlie persists in upsetting Fossil by using the term Fossil racing, as if he actually owned the title. Its a pity the two old blokes could not make it to China so the could have argued it out on the beach over a FEW bundys. By the way do they have Bundy in China? Fossil sends his congrats to all the winners and lossers. Hope to see you all in Vincentia. |

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to 'Go With The Flow' and all the boys of the Hobie Factory Beach Team. Your coverage & commentary/observations of the event goings on so far via the blog site have been absolutely fantastic. Dunno how much feedback you've been getting, so just thought it was worth saying something here about how appreciated it is. Keep up the good work lads, I know the workload is gonna go up a coupla notches with the opens starting, but if you could keep the videos and commentary coming, that'll be brilliant. Also to Hoops for his own commentary on ANHCA and Brooksey for the IHCA as well. Excellent. Following them all. Really stoked to see Nat & Jasmine seriously smokin' the rest! Awesome job gang. Also awesome was that video of Jasmine reclined on the tramp practicing the 'Hobie Way of Life' ;-) Love your work. Just sent off today a possible contender for the Opens.
