Hobie 16 Worlds Fiji
The Hobie 16 Words will start in a few days.  The boats have arrived in Fiji and being assembled as you read this. Sixty new Hobie 16 assembled on a new beach just for our Hobie sailors. Some of the sailors have already started to arrive in Fiji to prepare for what will be spectacular world championships.  If you can’t attend don’t forget to look at the web site to see all the updates, results and photos. Hobie Tiger & Dragoon Worlds
The South African Hobie Class has already been out practising on the world’s site. With their recent Hobie Tiger and Dragoon Championships. Check out the beautiful location and the ease of launching of your boats into a superb sailing venue. The Notice of Race and the online entry page is now live. The Hobie Tiger Worlds is a bring-your-own-boat event with assisted shipping from some ports. The Hobie Dragoon will be supplied as the boat charter is included in the entry fee. All shipping details have been put on the web site now.  To assist you as much as possible the organisers need to you to book your boat on the shipping container as soon as possible. In Asia there are two big regattas. The Allied Pickfords Hobie Asian Championships in Thailand in January. Followed by the Philippine Hobie Challenge in February. So if you are looking for a sailing holiday in Asia don’t miss these two great regattas.
 
The Royal Yachting Association has put a submission to the International Sailing Federation Annual Conference in November to remove the multihulls for the ISAF Youth worlds. Their submission for the Olympic Classes does not name a multihull to be included. There is a petition to the Royal Yachting Association to reconsider their submission. The petition can be found here
